Opening sequence titles
Frequently a variety of titles appear on top over the images found in an opening sequence or as title card in between shots.
These titles usually include the names of the major production and distribution companies, the name of the director, the title of the film, the names of the most recognisable stars and often the names of other members of the crew such as the producers or the editors. Some times titles may also include the name of the location where the action is taking place and some narrative information to introduce the audience to the story.
