Sound Effects

Sound is important because it can tell us about time, place, and character. It's important because it informs us and moves us in ways visuals can't and because certain combinations of sounds and visuals can evoke what neither can do alone. Sound also helps determine what we see unconsciously. Here are some of the sound effects that I will be using in my opening scene:

Dinosaur Sound Effect: This will be used to symbolise the creature lurking in the dark.

Scream Sound Effect: The actor playing the protagonist in my opening scene couldn't achieve the scream that I desired, therefore a searched for a 'scream sound effect' that matched the tone I was searching for.

Murder Sound Effect: When the creature attacks the protagonist, the sound of the attack and blood squirting will be noticeable. This will require a specific sound effect.
