Outlining the brief for your coursework

The objective of my coursework is to create an opening sequence of a film from any genre of my choice with appropriate titles (the name of the cast and crew and the title of the film).

I will commence by looking at a range of opening sequences from different genres to analyse the similarities and difference. I also wish to analyse the purpose and meaning of the opening sequences to find out whether they are pioneered to introduce genre, to introduce and develop character or too establish location.
